Job Description for Data Operations Analyst

BambooBox is a SaaS-based software start-up with 4 years of expertise, offering a platform for growth marketers. About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports. You will develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Here's a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with this role:

Functional Requirements:

  1. Manage BambooBox and client data, following data management and governance practices.

  2. Create documentation, reports, and dashboards to help manage and operate the database effectively.

  3. Oversee the architecture, governance, and data standards for marketing data tools, such as Sales Nav, ZoomInfo, and

  4. Maintain data hygiene across platforms.

  5. Research and collect additional data from various sources (e.g., websites, databases, and social media).

  6. Verify the validity of collected data by cross-referencing with trusted sources.

  7. Maintain organized records of all data enrichment activities.

  8. Collaborate with other teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant information.

  9. Use data tools and software to manage and enrich data efficiently.

  10. Identify and resolve any data quality issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques would be a plus

Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
