Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities: Job responsibilities for a QA Analyst/Engineer include:
  • Analyze and clarify of requirements with a customer or a business analyst.
  • Plan the process of testing.
  • Write test cases (test scripts)
  • Conduct functional testing where necessary
  • Identify potential problem areas
  • Discuss fixes with developers and business analysts (when it impacts requirements).
  • Ensure that all acceptance criteria set forth by the Business Analyst and stakeholders are being followed
  •  
  • Review QA standards and guidelines on a regular basis
  • Work with the BA to develop testing flows and scenarios that are of priority and make sense from a user testing perspective
  • Work with team to guide members in adopting best practices set forth by the QA guild
  • Work with developers to ensure automation scripts are implemented where it makes sense
  • Work with developers to ensure automation scripts are implemented as part of CI/CD pipeline
