Description

Minimum / Must-have

·  9+ years experience in DevOps / cloud infrastructure roles operating production systems.

·  Proven, hands-on implementation of mutual TLS (mTLS) in production (AWS API Gateway, ALB/NLB, or comparable gateways).

·  Deep, practical experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda/ECS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, Route 53, IAM, KMS, ACM, VPC networking, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, GuardDuty.

·  Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (module design, state management, code review, automated validation).

·  Experience managing edge & DNS tooling (Cloudflare) and designing DNS/edge interactions with AWS.

·  Experience integrating cloud workloads with Equinix or similar colocation/edge network providers (private interconnects, cross-connects).

·  Practical experience with SAST & DAST tools and integrating security testing into CI/CD.

·  Solid network & security fundamentals: TLS/PKI, VPN, VPC/peering, network ACLs, security groups, WAF patterns.

·  Experience operating SaaS or whitelabel platforms (environment separation, customer customization).

·  Demonstrated ability to drive external technical conversations with minimal supervision and to document decisions and runbooks on the fly.

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

·  Prior experience in regulated industries: banking/fintech, healthcare, or insurance.

·  Experience with PagerDuty, incident management and leading postmortems.

·  Familiarity with IAM governance and cross-account patterns for multi-tenant SaaS.
