SAP Developer (Contract – Remote, India)

This engagement is delivered through a Richardson, TX–based SAP consulting and implementation partner supporting enterprise clients across the U.S. and European regions.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer with strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP and mandatory hands-on experience in SAP ITM.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of ABAP development, object-oriented design, and SAP enhancement frameworks, along with the ability to deliver clean, scalable solutions in an agile environment.

Key Skills and Experience

· Hands-on experience in S/4HANA ABAP development, with a focus on SAP ITM (must have).

· Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, Interface Programming, RFC, ODATA, BAPI, Web UI, SOAP, XML, Web Dynpro, and ABAP on HANA using Eclipse.

· Hands-on experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits, BADIs, and AIF framework.

· Working knowledge of SAP functional modules including GTS, Sales & Distribution (SD), and Purchasing.

· Experience working in agile software development and documentation environments.

· Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

· Experience with SAP correction instructions, hot notes, and upgrade adjustments (SPAU/SPDD).

· Exposure to Fiori Custom Fields and Logic (CFL) for standard SAP table and app modifications.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· SAP ABAP certification or related credentials preferred.
