Job Title: Agronomy Intern – Banana Plantation (1 Position, Urgent)

Location: Muzaffarpur, Bihar

About Us:

We are building a next-generation fruit supply chain with a strong focus on avocado, kiwi, and banana cultivation. Our farms leverage precision agriculture, tissue culture plantation, and traceability systems to ensure sustainable, high-quality produce.

Role Overview:

We are urgently looking for an Agronomy Intern with knowledge and hands-on exposure in banana plantation and crop management. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing our 7-acre banana plantation and ensuring best agronomic practices. Based on performance during the 3-month internship and probation, this role can convert into a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing banana plantation operations (planting, fertigation, pest & disease management, harvesting).
  • Work closely with the team to implement precision agriculture techniques.
  • Maintain row-wise plant health data and support in drone & agronomy analysis.
  • Monitor soil, irrigation, and crop inputs for optimal yield.
  • Provide agronomy advice and ensure best practices are followed on the ground.
  • Support certification, documentation, and traceability systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of banana cultivation practices (preferably G9/Cavendish).
  • Practical experience in plantation management will be a big plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Muzaffarpur.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
