Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and books of accounts.
• Prepare, analyze, and finalize financial statements and monthly reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and expense tracking.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor and control company expenses to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Additional Information:

• Candidates with prior experience in managing full sets of accounts will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
