About the Role

We are searching for a talented Java developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of our Java applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to bring our vision to life.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new features using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring Framework, Hibernate)
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code according to best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and identify potential improvements
  • Unit test code to ensure functionality and quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Java-related issues
  • Debug and fix application bugs efficiently
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in Java development

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Java developer
  • Strong understanding of Java core concepts (OOP principles, data structures, algorithms)
  • Proficiency in writing clean and maintainable Java code
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience with a popular Java framework (e.g., Spring Framework, Spring Boot)
  • Experience with a relational database and SQL
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) (a plus)
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (a plus)
  • Experience with API development and integration
  • Experience with design patterns
