SAP SD - AM/Manager - BLR / Pune / Hyd / GGN / Ko - J49765

Roles & responsibilities

  • Experience in ERP integration, with a strong focus on SAP (SD/ FI modules) and e-invoicing.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP DRC or Sovos E-Invoicing or PEGARO or similar e-Invoicing and e-Reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and API-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tax engines (e.g., Vertex, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Avalara) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of indirect tax processes (US Sales and Use tax reporting, VAT, GST, e-invoicing mandates).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Additional skill of knowing Foreign language like Spanish/

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, with a strong emphasis on SAP Finance/ SAP Sales and Distribution.
  • Proven experience with FI-SD and FI-MM integration points relevant to tax determination and posting (e.g., pricing procedures, purchase order processing, invoicing).
  • SAP S/4 HANA Finance - Can understand exchange rate configurations, GL setups, understand APIs, FI document configurations. Expected to know how exchange rates affect sales and purchase data as sales data is sent to SOVOS through APIs. Also requires ability to clearly write Functional Specification documents. Knowledge of Tax is a plus.
  • SAP S/4 HANA SD- Core SD configurations, Enterprise structure design, sales document configurations, BP Customer configurations, understand API design. Expected to know how to query sales data (including BP data) and push SOVOS using APIs. Also requires ability to clearly write Functional Specification documents. Knowing basic SAP- MM would be a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP DRC or Sovos E-Invoicing or PEGARO or similar e-Invoicing and e-Reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience with at least one major third-party tax engine (OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, etc.), including implementation, integration, and support is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of indirect tax principles and processes, including Canadian GST/HST/PST, Sales & Use tax, Latin America tax compliance, and European VAT is a plus.
