Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the supermarket premises to ensure smooth daily operations and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
  • Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Install and maintain lighting systems, power circuits, switches, and sockets.
  • Perform preventive maintenance for refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and electrical panels.
  • Monitor power consumption and report abnormalities or power fluctuations.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and statutory regulations.
  • Assist in maintenance of generators, UPS, and backup power systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors or contractors for major electrical works when required.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and service activities.
  • Support other maintenance activities such as plumbing, air conditioning, and general repair when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
