About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and modern cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and deploying scalable solutions using .NET Core, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based solutions.

Must Have Skills

  • Strong development experience in .NET Core / C#.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions (serverless computing).
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Proficiency in Azure Cosmos DB including modeling, querying, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Associate).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using .NET Core and Azure Functions.
  • Implement and maintain Cosmos DB for scalable, distributed data storage.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to enable continuous delivery and automated deployments.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA engineers to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Ensure best practices for cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
