Role & responsibilities

Electronics Development:

  • Design and develop electronic control units (ECUs) for vehicle systems like infotainment, lighting, safety, and powertrain.
  • Analyze and interpret technical schematics, specifications, and system requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototype testing.
  • Collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware and software components.
  • Support manufacturing and validation of electronic systems.
  • C/C++, Embedded C & MATLAB

Telematics Development:

  • Designing the overall system architecture for telematic functions and connectivity features.
  • Develop and optimize embedded firmware for telematics control units (TCUs).
  • Implement and test communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and cellular (4G/5G).
  • Enable features like GPS tracking, remote diagnostics, vehicle-to-cloud communication, and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate telematics with infotainment, ADAS.
  • Perform system-level testing, debugging, and validation of telematics features.
  • C/C++, Embedded C & Python

EV Power Train:

  • Battery systems: - Knowledge related Battery Monitoring, Battery Protection, Cell Balancing, different type of the Battery.
  • Design and developed high-performance battery systems for electric vehicles.
  • Powertrains: Designing efficient electric motors, gearboxes, and inverters that deliver a smooth and powerful driving experience.
  • Motor torque calculation, speed controlling system and protection
  • Charging infrastructure: Charging method and power calculation
  • Control systems- Designing the ECU, which controls the electrical systems, including the powertrain, battery, and charging systems.
  • Testing and Prototyping- Work closely with prototyping teams to create physical prototypes for design validation.
  • Ability to achieve results against an internal and external standard of excellence, showing a passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to supervise a complex task by breaking it down into manageable parts in a systematic way, work logically to resolve problems and further identifies causes and anticipate implications.
  • Ability to anticipate potential obstacles and develop contingency plans to overcome them.
  • Ability to improve the immediate performance of others and facilitate their skill development by providing behaviourally specific performance feedback.
  • Should be able to generate novel and valuable ideas and use these ideas to develop new or improved processes, methods, systems, products or services.
  • Should possess strong technical knowledge to provide sound and insightful recommendations in area of expertise.
  • Must focus ones efforts on discovering and meeting internal and external customers needs in a manner that provides satisfaction for the customer within the resources available.
