Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and control all manufacturing processes to meet production

targets.

• Ensure the efficient use of raw materials, manpower, and machinery.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and optimize

productivity.

Quality Control:

• Establish and monitor quality standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and quality assurance processes.
• Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

• Oversee regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and improve

machine efficiency.

• Plan and execute equipment upgrades and replacements.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of production staff.
• Provide training and support for continuous skill improvement.
• Foster a culture of accountability and high performance.

Budget and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage the factory budget.
• Monitor costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare financial and production reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, or a

related field.

8+ years of experience in steel manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial

role.

Strong understanding of steel production processes, quality control, and maintenance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in production planning, cost management, and data analysis.

Knowledge of safety regulations and lean manufacturing principles.
