Job Purpose

Hands on Senior Engineer with experience of working within high performance development teams

Significant AWS Engineering experience implementing Amazon well architected frameworks, serverless solutions and improving existing platforms using AWS technologies with Agile delivery methods.

Desired Skills and experience

Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/ Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

Deep experience of AWS solutions incl. Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, RDS, (e.g. DynamoDB, Aurora Postgres), SQS, API Gateway, Athena

Direct, proven experience of the delivery and optimization of high-performance data pipelines

Comfortable with data analysis and SQL

Familiar with DevOps practises, implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, usage of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated test and deployment processes

Familiar with container technologies

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing solutions with Python 3, Python data management/manipulation libraries and usage of Python with AWS components
  • Working in the Data domain, covering the full data pipeline from ingestion, mastering, management and consumption/distribution of large datasets
  • Financial Services expertise preferred working with Equity and Fixed Income asset classes and a confirmed understanding of Indices
  • No-SQL and Relational databases and data analysis using SQL.
  • QA/Automation capabilities
  • Integrating Automation scripts on Continuous Integration tools for automated regressions daily.
  • All stages of the Software Development Process and Quality Assurance Life Cycle.
  • Crafting Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts and Test reports of functional and non-functional tests.
  • Test Data Management.
