Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Stenographer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent shorthand and typing skills, strong command over language, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The role involves accurately transcribing spoken words into written form, preparing official documents, and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take dictations in shorthand and transcribe them accurately.
- Type correspondence, reports, notices, and other official documents.
- Maintain and organize records, files, and confidential information.
- Draft and format documents as per organizational standards.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on tasks.
- Coordinate with different departments for documentation and communication.
- Ensure accuracy, grammar, and clarity in all written documents.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in shorthand and typing (speed and accuracy).
- Strong command of English/Hindi/Marathi (as required).
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification/Diploma in Stenography or Secretarial Practice preferred.
- Typing speed: [e.g., 40-50 wpm] and Shorthand speed: [e.g., wpm].
- Previous experience as a stenographer/secretary/administrative assistant will be an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
