Key Responsibilities

  • Skincare: Providing treatments like facials, waxing, and exfoliation, as well as advising clients on skin care and suitable products.
  • Hair Services: Performing hair styling, coloring, and other treatments to enhance hair appearance.
  • Nail Services: Offering manicures and pedicures, including nail art and enhancements.
  • Makeup Application: Applying makeup for various events, photoshoots, or daily wear.
  • Consultation: Conducting consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and build client relationships.
  • Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
  • Product Sales: Recommending and selling beauty products and treatments to clients.

Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing a range of beauty treatments, from hairstyling to skincare therapies.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to build rapport, understand client needs, and provide a positive experience.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality service and results.
  • Knowledge of Trends: Staying updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with clients and other staff to provide excellent service.

Work Environment

  • Beauticians typically work in beauty salons, spas, and clinics.
