Job Title: PE/VC & Investment Analyst

Location: Mumbai (Full-Time)

Experience Required: 3-4 years (Graduate degree / Masters / MBA with relevant

internship or work experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Investment Analyst to join our family office

team in Mumbai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the principal

and investment leads on sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments across private

equity, venture capital, and other asset classes. The ideal candidate is passionate about

startups and private markets, has strong research and financial skills, and thrives in a

dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Evaluation & Execution


• Actively identify and source new investment opportunities that match the family

office's sector focus, building strong networks and relationships to generate a steady

pipeline of deals.


• Prepare detailed investment notes, memos, and presentations for internal decision-

making. Each note should state whether to go ahead with the investment or reject it.


• Conduct primary and secondary research including market sizing, competitive

analysis, and customer interviews.


• Coordinate end-to-end deal execution including financial, legal, and operational due

diligence.


• Liaise with legal and financial advisors to close term sheets and finalize transactions.

Portfolio Management


• Maintain close relationships with portfolio company founders and management

teams.


• Track performance metrics and prepare periodic progress reports.


• Analyse data and market trends to figure out the best time to sell portfolio companies,

so decisions are well-informed and exits happen at the right time.

Internal Operations & Support


• Help define and implement systems and processes to improve investment tracking

and scalability.


• Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

Skills & Competencies


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with AI tools

for research and productivity.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.


• High degree of ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.


• Strong networking skills and comfort with outreach in the startup ecosystem.

Qualifications


• Graduate degree from a top-tier institution.


• Masters / MBA


• 3-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or a

VC/PE/family office environment.


• Prior internships, side projects, or active involvement in the startup ecosystem is a

plus.
