L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking an Inventory Support - Dispatcher to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

Position Overview:

This person will contribute to the company's success by analyzing documentation and paperwork while moving materials to support the build of high-performance data link systems and products. Performs material movements and system data functions while interacting with various departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• 1st shift, 9/80 schedule.
• Works from oral & written instructions using a computer
• Makes decisions related to priority, packaging, and material handling
• Moves all shop orders to next build operation
• Maintains material flow of materials from build initiation to completion
• Releases transportation holds
• Accurately handles and tracks all material using SAP MRP system and RF scanners
• Locates lost orders, works closely with Production Planning where applicable
• Frequently lifts, twists, bends, and rotates with up to 50 pounds

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 ½ years of experience in stores, shipping, or receiving is preferred
• Experience operating hand carts and pallet jacks with steel shoes
• Ability to work overtime, weekend, holiday and/or second shift work if work demands
• Ability to perform independently and in a team environment with good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of packaging procedures, materials, and inventory used in packaging and/or handling of finished goods
