Job Title: Snowflake & DBT Developer

Experience Required: 4 - 7 years (with 23 years of relevant experience in Snowflake and DBT)

Location: Bangalore

Shift Timing: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Snowflake & DBT Developer with strong experience in data engineering and transformation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Snowflake, DBT (with Jinja and SQL), and a working knowledge of Python. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, transforming data models, and ensuring data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
  • Write efficient and reusable SQL and Jinja templates for data transformations.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
  • Use Python for scripting, automation, and integration tasks as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

  • Primary Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

  • Proficiency in DBT, including Jinja templating and SQL.

  • Secondary Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Python for data-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of total experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience with Snowflake and DBT.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to data governance and security best practices.
