Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage OpenStack infrastructure and services.

- Deploy and maintain OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, etc.).

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hypervisor integration (KVM, QEMU).

- Automate deployments, upgrades, and scaling with tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).

- Monitor performance, capacity, and resource usage; ensure high availability and reliability.

- Handle networking, storage, and compute aspects within the OpenStack environment.

- Integrate OpenStack with other cloud services, identity, security, and logging/monitoring stacks.

- Write scripts and tools for maintenance, orchestration, and self-healing.

- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to align systems and processes.

- Document architecture, configurations, operational runbooks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Technologies :

- Strong working experience with OpenStack platforms and modules (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, etc.).

- Hands-on with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL).

- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC/configuration tools.

- Knowledge of networking (VXLAN, VLAN, GRE, SDN), DHCP, routing, IP addressing.

- Storage expertise (Ceph, LVM, block, object storage).

- Understanding of compute virtualization, hypervisors (KVM).

- Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

- API integration, REST, scripting (Python, Bash).

- Security, identity, authentication (Keystone, RBAC, SSL).

- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize cluster performance under load.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Good written and verbal communication.

- Collaborative mindset working with cross-functional teams.

Additional Conditions :

- Must be available during the 10 AM - 7 PM IST shift.

- Remote work setup with reliable internet connectivity.

- No candidate should be currently residing in Hyderabad or Andhra Pradesh.
