Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to build seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and payment gateways.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems by adding new features and fixing issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in PHP development.
  • Strong knowledge of Core PHP and at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.).
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery.
  • Understanding of API development, RESTful services, and JSON.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter framework..
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
