We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team in Lucknow, focusing on building, customizing, and maintaining efficient, user-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development & Customization:
    Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using best practices.
  • Theme Integration:
    Convert complex PSD, Figma, or Sketch layouts into responsive, highly functional WordPress sites.
  • Optimization:
    Ensure high performance, site speed, and scalability of WordPress installations (caching, asset optimization, etc.).
  • Security & Maintenance:
    Implement robust security measures and perform regular site updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
  • E-commerce:
    Experience working with WooCommerce and integrating various payment gateways.
  • API Integration:
    Integrate third-party APIs and web services into WordPress sites as required.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with design and content teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience
    working exclusively with WordPress development.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies:
    HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Strong proficiency in
    PHP and MySQL
    for custom plugin and theme development.
  • Deep understanding of the WordPress core, database structure, hooks, filters, and custom post types.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control tools, especially
    Git
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills

  • Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, Divi, WP Bakery).
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Vue) for extending front-end functionality.
  • Familiarity with server-side architecture and deployment processes.
  • Experience in optimizing database queries and server performance.
