Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 & Device Management Administrator to support our US-based clients. This position blends responsibilities across Microsoft 365 administration, Intune endpoint management, and IT operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, Intune, device compliance, and identity management within enterprise or managed service environments. This role requires ownership of day-to-day IT administration, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant with HITRUST and NIST standards.

Key Responsibilities

Device Management:

  • Administer Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager across all devices.
  • Configure and maintain Autopilot and Apple ADE enrollment workflows.
  • Implement security and compliance policies aligned with HITRUST/NIST.
  • Monitor device patching, resolve compliance issues, and maintain endpoint health.
  • Manage Windows, macOS, and mobile devices across hybrid environments.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

  • Manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Oversee license management, tenant configurations, and access reviews.
  • Configure and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, and data retention policies.
  • Collaborate on SharePoint modernization and workflow automation projects.
  • Generate reports on system health, patch compliance, and usage analytics.

IT Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain IT SOPs, build guides, and operational playbooks.
  • Track the lifecycle of assets and licenses for audit readiness.
  • Provide quarterly operational and compliance reports to IT leadership.
  • Ensure full adherence to organisational data security, confidentiality, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of IT experience with Microsoft 365 and endpoint administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Hands-on experience with Intune, Apple Business Manager, Conditional Access, and MFA.
  • Skilled in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server, and Azure identity management.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and reports.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, cloud architecture, and ITIL processes.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Prior experience in MSP or global enterprise environments preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • Intune Administrator, Azure Foundation and architectural is a plus.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Messaging Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • CompTIA (Network+, Security+, or Cloud+).
