Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cost & Estimation Engineer with handson experience in Plumbing Costing & Estimation for MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and material requirements related to plumbing activities while supporting tendering and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study and interpret MEP drawings and project specifications for plumbing works.
  • Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for plumbing activities.
  • Carry out quantity take-offs for plumbing materials, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns for plumbing-related works (materials, labor, equipment).
  • Assist in tender documentation, technical proposals, and cost submissions.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Maintain updated cost records and databases of plumbing materials.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Plumbing Costing & Estimation within the MEP industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing services (drainage, water supply, piping systems, fixtures, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing materials and types.
  • Proficiency in preparing BOQs for plumbing activities.
  • Skilled in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation-related tools.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in plumbing cost estimation for MEP projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
