Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations of our AGL LED lights, halogen lights, and signboard production unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, cost-effective resource utilization, vendor development, and implementation of best practices in line with industry standards. The candidate must have hands-on experience in managing components such as glass filters, lenses, LEDs, and electronic drivers, along with expertise in SAP and production SOP development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily production operations for AGL LED lights, halogen lights, and signboards.
  • Develop and implement production planning to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and minimizing shortages or overstocking.
  • Followup with existing vendor on time delivery and ensure time to time that they are not skipping any quality checks.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for raw materials and critical components (glass filters, lenses, LEDs, drivers, etc.).
  • Establish and standardize SOPs for production processes to improve efficiency, safety, and quality compliance.
  • Monitor and improve production KPIs including yield, efficiency, downtime, and quality.
  • Ensure cost control by optimizing material utilization and reducing wastage.
  • Coordinate closely with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for seamless operations.
  • Utilize SAP for production planning, inventory tracking, and process monitoring.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and quality certifications.
  • Mentor and lead the production team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of FAA standards will be advantageous.

Qualifications
  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in production management, preferably in lighting, electronics, or signage manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of LED, drivers, halogen lamps, glass filters, lenses, and electronic components.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP (MM/PP modules) for production and inventory management.
  • Proven track record in new vendor development and supply chain collaboration.
  • Expertise in preparing and implementing SOPs for production.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
