Role : Network Engineer II
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Network Administrator to join our team and provide network support for our client"s data centers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking technologies, routing protocols, and firewall administration. This position involves interacting with clients, assisting remote teams, and ensuring the stability and availability of the network infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities: :
- Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues and operational tasks.
- Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN setups, Cisco/Meraki switches/routers, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Maintain Cisco ACI fabric including APIC, Spine, and Leaf components.
- Perform manual and automated backups of network devices using TFTP and backup tools.
- Troubleshoot and support routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, STP, Inter-VLAN routing, and device stacking.
- Administer firewall environments, including Inside/Outside/DMZ zones, security rules, and failover configurations.
- Perform IOS upgrades for network devices like switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
- Collaborate with remote teams to address technical issues and complete maintenance activities.
Qualification Requirements:
- Good understanding of managing and monitoring network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (Checkpoint/Palo Alto), switches, routers, and wireless devices and ACI environment.
- Familiarity with routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP along with SD-WAN.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, such as VLANs, STP, and HSRP.
- Experience in backing up and restoring network configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network-related issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
