PHP Web Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack PHP Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Deft Innovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies and will be able to build, maintain, and optimize web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Work on front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Manage server and hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to handle load changes.
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer (2+ years).
• Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter).
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax).
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with server and hosting environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.

Nice to Have

• Experience with front-end frameworks like or
• Knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
