We are looking for a skilled Shopify Apps Developer who has hands-on experience in building, customizing, and publishing Shopify apps . The ideal candidate will have successfully developed and launched at least 2-3 apps on the Shopify App Store, with strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, Liquid, and modern web development practices. You will be responsible for developing scalable apps, integrating third-party services, and ensuring performance, security, and compliance with Shopify guidelines.
Job Description:
Role: Shopify Apps Developer
Total Experience : 1-3 years
(with at least 2-3 published Shopify apps on the Shopify App Store)
Work Location: Mumbai,Pune
Joining: 0-15 days
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps (public & private).
- Publish and manage apps on the Shopify App Store, ensuring compliance with Shopifys approval process.
- Work with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) for seamless integrations.
- Build robust app functionalities such as subscription management, payment gateways, order tracking, and analytics.
- Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement clean and user-friendly interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and debug app issues, providing timely fixes and updates.
- Stay updated with Shopify ecosystem changes, app review policies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with 2-3 apps published on the Shopify App Store (please provide links).
- Strong proficiency in Shopify APIs, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+),
- Experience with , Express for backend app development.
- Familiarity with OAuth, webhooks, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of Shopify Polaris for app design consistency.
- Experience in app performance optimization and security best practices.
- Ability to work with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD).
