Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Planning and Design Engineer to support our logistics operations infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and managing network architectures for logistics sites such as warehouses, distribution centres, and transport hubs. This role will ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity that supports operational efficiency, automation, and real-time logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure for logistics operational sites, including warehouses, fulfilment centres, and transport hubs.
  • Conduct network site assessments and provide optimized connectivity solutions tailored for high-performance logistics operations.
  • Ensure low-latency, secure, and redundant network connectivity to support warehouse systems, handheld devices, IoT sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with operations, IT, and automation teams to understand business requirements and translate them into network architecture.
  • Develop network blueprints, topology diagrams, and documentation for ongoing support and audits.
  • Support rollout and integration of WMS, TMS, and RTLS systems with appropriate network configurations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues; implement improvements and upgrades as needed.
  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of network services.
  • Enforce security best practices across all operational networks, including firewalls, NAC, VLAN segmentation, and secure Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure scalability of the network to support future expansion of operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network planning, design, and implementationideally in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
