The Role

We are seeking an engineer with a strong balance of
machine learning, data science, and computer science expertise
to help us build our core AI infrastructure.

This role combines
model evaluation, data analysis, and scalable system design
, with a focus on
orchestration, ranking, and data-driven optimization across multimodal workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement
    end-to-end ML pipelines
    to gather data, extract insights, and serve results based on model annotations and embeddings.
  • Build
    data analysis layers
    on top of logs to harvest reusable assets, track performance, and generate recommendation/risk signals.
  • Develop
    scoring, ranking, and risk estimation frameworks
    for multimodal outputs.
  • Integrate and benchmark
    VLMs, LLMs, and generation models (image, audio, video)
    in a model-agnostic system.
  • Implement
    APIs and services
    for downstream teams to enable asset reuse and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Optimize for
    compute efficiency, caching, and reproducibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    evaluating large models
    (VLMs, LLMs, generative models).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in
    traditional ML and data science
    (statistical analysis, risk modeling, experimental design).
  • Strong
    computer science fundamentals
    (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, APIs).
  • Experience with
    ranking/search systems
    (e.g., Elasticsearch, Vespa, or hybrid metadata/vector-based approaches).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with
    Python and ML frameworks
    (PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
  • Familiarity with
    modern infrastructure
    (AWS, Docker).
  • Bonus: experience
    training or fine-tuning large models.
