Sr. Advanced Services Engineer, CSS Tech Delivery, Cloud Infrastructure

We're looking for a talented Cloud Oracle DBA. We're after curious mind, good interpersonal skills, and excellent technical skills in the area of Cloud DBA admin, a good set of hardware (ZDLRA/ZFS) skills is an added advantage. We're after someone who can troubleshoot, apply changes, fix Exa related problems, think at scale. You should know how Databases, Exadatas are built, what's their memory setup, how processes are interlinked, how to patch it, where to look for errors, what are key activities you need to perform. You should also think at scale, how to manage Exadata connected to hundreds of DBs, mission critical systems. This is a hand-on job.Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems. RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden gate are mandatory skills. It is 24/7 operations. Mandatory skillset along with Oracle DBA are MSSQL and Postgress.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer's IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.
