Plant Supervisor

Pico Plastech is a growing plastic injection molding company dedicated to delivering high-quality molded components for automotive and industrial applications. With a focus on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement, we are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Plant Supervisor to oversee daily production operations.

Role Overview:

The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the entire molding floor operations — from mold loading/unloading to part production — ensuring smooth workflow, quality output, and adherence to safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day plant activities in the injection molding department.
• Supervise mold loading, setup, and unloading operations.
• Monitor machine parameters and ensure optimal production efficiency.
• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure quality checks are performed regularly and maintain documentation.
• Train and guide operators and helpers in molding processes and safety practices.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards across the plant.
• Support new mold trials and first article production.
• Report production metrics and challenges to management daily.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical, Plastics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plastic injection molding operations.
• Strong technical understanding of molding machines, molds, and parameters.
• Hands-on experience with mold changeover, troubleshooting, and setup.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of materials (ABS, PP, Nylon, etc.) and processing parameters.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and basic quality tools.
• Ability to handle manpower and ensure smooth shift operations.
