We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting while supporting the financial operations of a fast-paced organization.

As a Junior Accountant, you will assist in handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining records, managing transactions, and supporting monthly closures. Proficiency in Tally ERP is a must, along with familiarity with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Record and process transactions using Tally ERP software.
  • Perform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
  • Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Assist in tax filings and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for billing and payment issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional accounting or ERP systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
