  1. Solution Design: Work closely with business users to understand supply chain planning requirements and translate them into technical designs for SAP IBP solutions. Design end-to-end planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and sales and operations planning (S&OP).
  2. System Configuration: Configure SAP IBP modules including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Response and Supply, and S&OP. Define planning objects, master data, key figures, and planning algorithms to meet business requirements.
  3. Data Integration: Integrate SAP IBP with other SAP and non-SAP systems such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and external data sources. Implement data interfaces and integration scenarios using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or other middleware tools.
  4. Custom Development: Develop custom enhancements and extensions to extend the functionality of SAP IBP as per business requirements. Write custom scripts in Advanced Planning Operator (APO) Scripting or other programming languages to implement complex planning algorithms and business rules.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for SAP IBP solutions. Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of planning processes under various scenarios.
  6. Training and Documentation: Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams on SAP IBP functionality and best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials.
  7. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP IBP production systems, including monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution. Collaborate with SAP support teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and implement patches and updates.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest SAP IBP features, enhancements, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to optimize supply chain planning processes and improve business outcomes.
