You light the way.More about the roleThis role is responsible for managing and allocating R&D resources to execute innovation projects for Solar lighting building block development, international cooperations with China/EU/NAM RDs, Responsible for giving necessary direction to make progress on the technology front relevant for the business.•Solar lighting or Solar industrial experience is preferred;•8+years RD department management experience;•Masterdegree in Electronics engineering development, and related experience; familiar with AC/DC, charge controller, smart control integration; hardware development, embed software development experience;•Adapts and manages the R&D competences in line with strategy•Translates the business product roadmap into an innovation / R&D program relevant for own group•Defines long term technology and or competence vision, specifies the gaps to be bridged in order to be ready to execute the Mid-Long term offer road map•Manages the R&D resources with strong focus on execution•Secures that the right R&D resources are assigned to develop new and adapt existing "I2M offers"•Monitors progress and closes the loop•Drives efficiency of own R&D group•EnsuresR&D budget compliance•Drives Total Quality Management for Innovation activities••Ensure R&D people are trained, coached, motivated, developed, inspired, challengedMore about youWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:Some tips to help you improve the job advertisement:Start with the most important experience and/or qualification first.Think about your perfect candidate and the skills, experience and personal qualities they will bring to this role.Think about our Signify values too - and how they might show themselves in your ideal candidate.Avoid adding too many 'desirable' skills.(no more than 5 bullet points of job skills/experience needed) - include Signify values where possibleEverything we'll do for youYou can grow a lasting career here.
