YOUR NEW ROLE

• Understanding of Capacity Management processes and associated methods within Compute or Storage & Backup.
• Experience with tools for monitoring infrastructure performance and capacity and experience with extracting the data to create reports.
• A continuous improvement mindset that enables delivery to be seen as an enabler to NAB
• Ability to analyse utilisation and forecast future needs to ensure adequate capacity for future applications and users.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with other teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to create and maintain documentation of the infrastructure and capacity management procedures.
• Possess a growth mindset and are an active participant within the team openly sharing knowledge and contributing to discussions to identify positive outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• As part of the Enterprise Technology team, you will be part of the Infrastructure Capacity team and be responsible for Capacity management across on-premise compute, storage & backup.

• Produce infrastructure capacity reports on compute or storage resource utilisation with findings or recommendations where necessary.

• Collaborate and work with other teams to understand their needs and ensure alignment on capacity plans.
• Forecast and report on future capacity needs for applications and users.
• Provide ad-hoc capacity reports when requested.
• Capacity management tools, processes and methods remain fit for purpose and are reviewed regularly.
• Produce capacity impact assessments or action plans.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in Capacity Management
