We are hiring Estimation Engineer (HVAC Projects) in Saligramam

We're seeking an Estimation Engineer with 3-4 years of experience specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

  • *Cost Estimation*: Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects in commercial/industrial buildings in Chennai.
  • *Project Bid Support*: Support bidding process for HVAC projects; prepare bid documents.
  • *Material Take-offs*: Conduct material take-offs for HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, equipment).
  • *Collaboration*: Work with design, procurement, and project teams for HVAC project execution in Chennai.
  • *Technical Specifications*: Understand and interpret HVAC technical specifications for estimation.
  • *Cost Analysis*: Analyze costs for HVAC equipment, labor, materials for Chennai-based projects.
  • *Vendor Coordination*: Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for pricing and availability of HVAC components.
  • *Project Documentation*: Maintain estimation records and project documentation.

Requirements

  • *Experience*: 3-4 years in HVAC estimation or related engineering role.
  • *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • *Skills*:
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems design and installation.
  • Proficiency in estimation software (like AutoCAD, Excel for calculations).
  • Understanding of Indian construction practices and Chennai market.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • *HVAC Standards*: Familiarity with relevant HVAC standards (like ISHRAE, ASHRAE guidelines).

  • *Attention to Detail*: Accuracy in cost estimation critical for HVAC projects.
  • *Technical Knowledge*: Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
  • *Communication*: Good communication for collaboration with Chennai-based teams.
