Role Description
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Lead Software Engineer to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team. This is a foundational role where you will own the entire software development lifecycle, from shaping the technical roadmap to shipping products that delight users.
You will be the technical anchor, defining our software architecture and guiding your team to build robust solutions. You will lead by example, leveraging your expertise in AI, automation, and low-code tools to accelerate development and deliver high-impact products. If you are a leader who loves to build and grow a team, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Software Architecture & Design: Own and define the technical architecture for all software and AI products. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Team Building & Mentorship: Lead the effort to hire, onboard, and mentor a team of engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Full-Stack Development: Drive the development of new features and products. Write high-quality code, conduct comprehensive code reviews, and set coding standards for the team.
AI & Automation Strategy: Define the strategic use of AI technologies, APIs, and low-code tools to solve complex business problems and automate workflows.
Product & Technical Roadmap: Partner with product managers to translate business requirements into a clear technical roadmap and actionable engineering tasks.
Problem-Solving: Act as the primary technical expert for the team. Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading a team or serving in a senior-level role.
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct effective code reviews, and manage a technical team.
System Design: Expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems from scratch.
Programming Skills: Exceptional proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
AI Expertise: Deep understanding of AI concepts, with hands-on experience leveraging large language models, computer vision, and other AI services via APIs.
API & Low-Code Knowledge: Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and a proven ability to utilize low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate development.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders.
