Software Developer – Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our development team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in software engineering while contributing to real-world projects. You'll work under the guidance of senior developers and gain hands-on experience in coding, debugging, and software design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues and bugs
  • Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings
  • Learn and apply new programming languages and technologies
  • Support testing and deployment of software releases
  • Maintain and update existing software systems
  • Document development processes and contribute to technical reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, React, SQL.
  • Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Extras

  • Internship or project experience in software development
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of web development frameworks or mobile app development
