Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities Job Description: Nash Tech Labs is looking for talented, mature, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals for its Research & Development center in Bangalore to become a part of the NextGen product development team. To ensure success in this position, Associate Manager typically responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians who design and develop wiring harnesses for various applications. Some of the specific responsibilities may include overseeing the design process, ensuring compliance with industry and customer standards, managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing teams, and providing technical guidance to team members   Mandatory Requirement: Extremely good at the Design and development of Wiring harnesses (New Product Development).Good Experience in the selection of components.Assure product capability and quality by designing electrical testing methods, testing finished products, and system capabilities.Team handling experience with guiding team technically. Good communication & Managing skills. Technical Skills:Delegates and oversees work related to wire harness design, development, and manufacturing feasibility. Develops products by studying applicable standards. Assists in defining customer requirements.Electrical knowledge to calculate voltage drops, choose wire gauges and make similar design decisions is required. Strong knowledge on wiring harness components sourcing costing.Roles and responsibilitiesProduce design and production documentation including schematics, boarding drawings, splice, and termination sheets.Prepares reports on wire harness and electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.Maintains project reports and customer interaction when required.Ability to train and guide technicians and engineers. Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning the delivery of solutions, answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members, and teaching improved processes.Mentors team members in other areas of expertise. Contributes to process improvement initiatives.Ensure legal compliance with state, federal, and OSHA requirements.Ensure ISO procedures are followed.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Associate Manager may be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements, staying up-to-date on industry trends and technologies, and communicating project progress and status updates to stakeholders.additional skills/competencies requiredNon-automotive/Automotive and/or high-voltage battery experience/EV harness is required.Experience in 2D CAD drawing package is required.
