Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer at our Chennai location. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing PV module mounting structures, developing innovative solutions for solar projects, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed engineering plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating project specifications, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for design purposes
  • Experience in structural analysis, load calculations, and finite element methods
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems, photovoltaic modules, and mounting structures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus
