The Cohesity SaaS Adapter Engineering Team specializes in developing enterprise-grade backup and protection solutions for mission-critical cloud applications including Azure Entra ID, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Google Workspace. Our team operates at the forefront of data protection innovation, creating seamless integrations that safeguard SaaS data through Cohesity's unified data cloud platform.
 

Our engineering efforts directly contribute to Cohesity's mission of hyperconverging backup, security, SaaS protection, and AI capabilities into a unified portal that empowers organizations to defend against ransomware, recover quickly from cyber incidents, and maintain business continuity.
 

The team collaborates extensively with cross-functional platform teams, cloud SaaS engineering groups, and infrastructure specialists, enabling delivery of security-focused products within monthly release cycles. Working in lockstep with Product Management, UX Design, and backend engineering teams, we ensure our adapters integrate seamlessly with Cohesity's AI-powered data insights platform (Gaia) and multi-cloud backup solutions.
 

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Design and build beautiful UI using the Angular framework

• Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations

• Work closely with product management team to understand user needs; participate in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs

• Build single page web applications; develop HTML/CSS user interfaces; integrate frontend components

• Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create great product experiences

• Build RESTful APIs that interface with the Cohesity backend systems

• Develop and Debug end to end from UI to the backend

• Design, develop and maintain innovative products for our on-prem as well as SaaS offerings

• Collaborate with product management, other cross functional leads and teams on both technical and business strategy to shape the future product roadmap for Cohesity's infinitely scalable platform.

• Implement product features for on-prem and cloud platforms.

• Drive accountability for test driven development, delivery of high quality features and resilient enterprise class solutions

• Lead a culture of team ownership and direct individual and team accountability to continuously improve how they work and achieve results.

• Provide guidance to engineering teams on UI/UX best practices, code quality standards, and emerging front-end technologies.

• Lead complex UI development initiatives for Cohesity's data protection and management platform, architecting scalable Angular solutions that serve enterprise customers across 140+ countries.

• Participating in Agile development processes.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related fields.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular or React Frameworks.

• Strong coding experience in any of these languages - C++, Golang, Java.

• A good knowledge of User Interface patterns and techniques to solve common UI problems

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, and developing web applications that use RESTful APIs

• Experience working with designers and ability to convert mockups into working client-side code using HTML5 / CSS3

• Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests

• Familiarity with building dashboards, using graphing libraries

• 6+ years of developing and troubleshooting UI and large scale distributed systems

• A fast learner and self-starter with intellectual horsepower.

• Good to have knowledge of AWS/ Azure services like EKS, EC2, VMs, VPC etc..

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
