About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled DuckCreek Developer to join our remote development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using DuckCreek Technologies. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, rigorously testing your work, and troubleshooting any software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver effective software solutions that meet business needs and provide outstanding user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Software Development :

- Conceptualize, write, and maintain clear, efficient, and quality code for DuckCreek applications and software components.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Perform thorough testing of your code, including unit tests and integration tests, to identify defects early and ensure high-quality deliverables.

API Development :

- Design, develop, implement, and test APIs that integrate DuckCreek solutions with other platforms and services.

Issue Detection & Troubleshooting :

- Proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve software issues reported by customers, partners, or internal users.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with customers and partners to understand their software-related issues and provide timely, effective support and solutions.

Project Contribution :

- Provide valuable input and technical expertise during software development project planning, design, and review phases.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably with DuckCreek or similar insurance software platforms.

- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used with DuckCreek solutions (e.g., C#, Java, or others as applicable).

- Strong understanding of relational databases and experience writing efficient SQL queries.

- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex software issues.

- Experience in developing, testing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
