This position is responsible for guiding the product strategy, overseeing the product development process, and ensuring the alignment of product offerings with the company's business goals and user needs. Key Responsibilities :

  • Product Strategy and Vision : Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, aligning with the company's goals and market opportunities.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the product team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Market and User Research : Conduct comprehensive market and user research to identify trends, user needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Product Development Lifecycle : Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and design through development, launch, and iteration.
  • Performance Metrics : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
  • User Experience : Champion the creation of compelling, user-centric designs and experiences that meet the needs of our audience.
  • Innovation : Encourage innovation and stay ahead of industry trends to keep the product offerings relevant and competitive.
  • Financial and Resource Management : Develop and manage the product budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Head, preferably in the digital media or news industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring product teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a successful product strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design and user research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and a metrics-focused approach to product management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
