Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform histopathological examinations on tissue samples to diagnose diseases.
  • Conduct autopsies and examine organs, tissues, and body parts for signs of disease or injury.
  • Prepare samples for analysis by processing, embedding, microtoming, staining, and mounting tissue sections.
  • Analyze test results to identify abnormalities and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure proper functioning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2-10 years of experience as a Histopathologist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc) or Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (M.Sc).
  • Strong knowledge of histopathology principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during emergency situations.
