Role Definition

We are seeking a Healthcare Domain SME / Advisory Lead to act as the business anchor and engagement lead for our modernization programs. The role demands deep knowledge of provider onboarding, credentialing, CVO functions, attestation, and regulatory compliance. The SME ensures technical recommendations stay aligned to healthcare workflows and compliance standards, while also leading executive-level workshops, business discovery, and proposal development.

This role will bridge business and technology, ensuring healthcare operations and compliance are consistently integrated into modernization roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead executive-level workshops and discovery sessions across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Act as the business anchor for provider data modernization, credentialing, and compliance workflows.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with healthcare compliance standards (NCQA, CMS, HIPAA).
  • Partner with technology teams to modernize CVO functions, portals, and provider data systems.
  • Own coordination of advisory streams and proposal development.

Experience Level

  • 15–20+ years in healthcare operations, compliance, and provider data management.
  • Strong exposure to payer/provider ecosystems, NCQA, CMS, HIPAA requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with technology teams to drive modernization of credentialing and provider data systems.

Skills Needed

  • Deep expertise in credentialing, compliance workflows, and provider lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of ERA/EFT, attestation services, and back-office operations.
  • Strong executive presence to lead customer-facing workshops and advisory sessions.
  • Ability to bridge business and technology and ensure seamless transition into implementation.

Advisory Team Value

  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions across all 7 priority areas.
  • Provide deep AWS expertise as the foundation for modernization, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Align technology strategy with healthcare compliance requirements (credentialing, provider data, workflows).
  • Transition seamlessly from advisory to implementation leadership in each workstream.
