Role: R-Flows & Technology Incubation

A purpose driven role for you

• Coordinate & work closely CoCs to align & deliver R&D research flows with the organization priorities.
• Strong understanding of future automotive technologies and in-depth knowledge of automotive design (connected tech, safety systems, powertrain, lighting, etc.)
• To define & review the Rflow new requirements (RFQ, Technology Roadmaps, etc) and drive technology incubation with hands-on execution (with internal CoCs & external partners).
• Monitor & track the R-flow progress, create visibility of the R-Flow status through review meetings with CFTs.

A Day in the life

• Perform R-Flows, vis--vis D-Flow.
• Ensure the R-Flow Gate process, and evaluation metrics and deliverables for each R-Flow gate.
• Ensure up-to-date tracking of R-Flows to bring visibility for deployment in D-Flows.
• Define SoR for new Rflow & establish new/impactful Rflow that help HMCL gain strategic edge.
• Initiate & Review the progress of R-Flows.
• Tech exploration & Innovation for newer technologies/ applications.
• Generate IP for new Technologies with internal/external stakeholders for new technologies.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering.
• 12-15 yrs experience in R&D with Technology & Innovation background.
• Hands-on design experience (5 years) or experience in new technology incubation.
• Start-up experience is desirable.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Analytical and Financial understanding to evaluate projects in terms of business metrics.
• Assertively able to communicate the cause & solutions.
• Detail Oriented and Timeline driven: Able to define deliverables objectively and with clear timelines.
• Innovation oriented mindset & self-drive for technology incubation. Tech orientation for effective interactions with technical CoCs.

Behavioural Skills

• Strong communication & presentation Skills, Negotiation Skills, Stakeholder Management, Influencing Skills.
