Position: Compliance & Back Office Analyst

Location: Noida / Mumbai / Bangalore (Remote – Virtual Office in Noida)

Work Hours: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST (Flexibility Required)

Key Responsibilities


• Manage daily compliance and back-office operations for Oceanus Securities


• Ensure accurate and timely execution of compliance tasks in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines


• Coordinate with internal teams to maintain proper documentation.


• Handle data reconciliation, reporting, and regulatory filings


• Identify, track, and resolve compliance and operational issues


• Stay current on applicable regulations in securities markets, especially equity and derivatives


• Support compliance audits and provide documentation as needed.


• Projects and documentation

o Wiki updates

o Compliance chores

o Client documentation

o Venue rates and matrix updates

o Forecasting

o Project review and updates


• Help with preparing/running client specific reports (TCA, etc.).


• Create and update Jira tickets related to Oceanus clients/projects/requests.


• Help project manage Oceanus projects/requests.


• To prepare the daily P&L and month end cumulative activity report development/distribution is paramount.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Compliance & Back Office Analyst to join our high-performance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of compliance and back-office operations within equity and derivatives markets, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a remote role with a preference for candidates based in Noida, Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore

Required Skills & Experience


• 3 to 7 years of experience in compliance and/or back-office functions (compliance preferred)


• Strong understanding of equity and derivative market operations


• Experience in the U.S. equity and options markets is highly preferred


• Familiarity with Indian equity and derivatives markets is also acceptable


• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision


• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Educational Qualifications


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounts or a related field
