The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit, enhance, and finalize educational and promotional videos for YouTube, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to create engaging visual stories aligned with Codebasics' brand and learning goals.
  • Add motion graphics, transitions,music, sound design, and visual effects to improve storytelling and viewer retention.
  • Maintain consistency in color grading, pacing, and visual tone across all video assets.
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm fresh video ideas and campaign concepts.
  • Organize and manage video assets, project files, and version control efficiently.
  • Stay updated on video trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms to bring innovative ideas to projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    2–4 years of professional video editing experience (EdTech, content creation, or startup experience preferred).
  • Tools:
    Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Skills:
    Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, sound design, and motion graphics.
  • Portfolio:
    Demonstrated experience editing educational or marketing videos with a strong sense of narrative and visual appeal.
  • Soft Skills:
    Ability to manage multiple projects, take creative feedback constructively, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Bonus:
    Experience with YouTube optimization, color grading, and creating educational animations.
