Job Requirement

Project Role: Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Consultant

Project Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Consultant with 5–6 years of proven expertise in developing enterprise-grade applications using Oracle VBCS. The ideal candidate should possess strong front-end development knowledge, integration skills, and hands-on experience in extending Oracle SaaS (Fusion Applications) using VBCS. Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and Oracle SaaS ecosystems is highly desirable. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications. The candidate should be an immediate joiner (Maximum 2 weeks).

Work Experience: 5–6 years

Work Location: Chennai – WFO

Shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (9 AM to 6 PM EST) – Monday to Friday

Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Oracle VBCS Development

Strong hands-on experience in building web and mobile applications using VBCS.

Expertise in Page Designer, Action Chains, Business Objects, Variables, and Event Handling.

Customization using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 within VBCS applications.

Proficiency in Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) for UI components and advanced customizations.

Strong knowledge of responsive UI design principles using VBCS.

Experience in Data Manager, Object Functions, and Business Rules.

Implementation of role-based security and authentication/authorization models.

Experience with application lifecycle management in VBCS (deploy, migrate, promote).

Integration & Extensibility

Hands-on experience integrating VBCS with Oracle Fusion Applications (HCM, ERP, SCM, CX) for UI extensions and custom apps.

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for orchestrating integrations and workflows.

Proficiency in RESTful & SOAP Web Services, including authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT, Basic Auth).

Experience in embedding VBCS apps inside Oracle SaaS (Fusion pages) as extensions.

Ability to consume and manipulate REST data sources, service connections, and APIs effectively.

Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and process automation using VBCS + OIC.

Database & Backend

Knowledge of Oracle Business Objects within VBCS and linking to external data sources.

Good understanding of data modeling, validations, and database concepts.

Experience in Groovy scripting for server-side logic in related Oracle SaaS extensions.

Security & Performance

Strong focus on application security best practices – authentication, authorization, and data security.

Experience in performance tuning, optimizing REST calls, and caching strategies.

Additional Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Process Automation, and workflow integrations.

Familiarity with Oracle APEX or other low-code platforms (Power Apps, OutSystems, Mendix).

Knowledge of Python or JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for advanced customizations.

Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines for VBCS apps, Git, version control).

Awareness of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services for hosting and extending applications.
