Job Title: Online Marketing Executive – GeM Portal

Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Online Marketing Executive with hands-on experience managing products and sales activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid management, catalog updates, and driving online business growth through the GeM platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GeM Portal ManagementCreate, update, and maintain product listings, pricing, and catalogues on the GeM portal.
  • Monitor and respond to bids, reverse auctions, and queries posted by government buyers.
  • Ensure product compliance with GeM guidelines, documentation, and category specifications.
  • Upload required certificates, technical documents, and pricing sheets.
  • Sales & MarketingIdentify potential government buyers and upcoming tender opportunities.
  • Promote company products/services on GeM by optimizing listings and visibility.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to submit competitive bids and follow up on order status.
  • Track tender deadlines, eligibility criteria, and evaluate business feasibility.
  • Coordination & DocumentationCoordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, operations) for product availability and timely bid submission.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to quotations, orders, and government communications.
  • Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and compliance with Buyer requirements.
  • Reporting & AnalyticsMonitor sales performance on the GeM portal and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Track market trends and competitor pricing.
  • Suggest improvements for product listings and bidding strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working on the GeM Portal (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of tendering, bidding, and online government procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of product listing, catalog management, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and basic digital marketing tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and multitask efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business/Admin preferred).
  • Experience in e-commerce portals or government procurement platforms.
